In church yesterday, when singing the closing hymn, the two young boys in the row in front of my wife and me kept looking at us. Afterwards, my wife teased me saying, "you like the attention." The boys' mother told us, "they're just not used to hearing good singing. I kept telling them not to stare." My wife was right--I did kind of like the attention. I wonder, though: Why don't more people sing the harmony lines, instead of just the melody?

I took my wife out to dinner Friday to Pierpont Cafe in Salt Lake City in celebration of our two-year anniversary. The food was good, but I didn't really like the feeling of the resturaunt. And, although they had an assortment of lovely flavored limeades, their menus only mentioned alcohol.
