For those who haven't heard it yet, I've posted Howard Dean's "I Have a Scream" speech. After coming in at a disappointing third place in the Iowa Caucus, Mr. Dean gave this startling speech, complete with a primal scream at the end. And he gave it, of all days, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

This from the Associated Press:

'Now I hear the cows in Iowa are afraid of getting mad Dean disease,' joked Tonight show host Jay Leno. 'It's always a bad sign when, at the end of your speech, your aide is shooting you with a tranquiliser gun.'

The media reaction was equally scathing. The right-wing tabloid New York Post mocked Dr Dean's 'wild Muppet shriek', while the New York Observer marvelled at his 'imitation of an exploding oil refinery'.

Speaking of the presidential election, www.presidentmatch.com has an interactive questionairre which will tell you who you should vote for, based on how much they agree with your beliefs. Without telling the form which party I'm a part of, and without requiring military or political experience, my results were: Bush, 100%; Edwards, 79%; Kerry, 77%; Lieberman, 75%; Clark 67%, Dean 65%, Kucinich, 52%; and Sharpton 46%.

I've also began a thorough redesign of my business website, www.owensinternet.com. The new version hasn't gone live yet, but it will look much, much better. I am really developing my skill at website design, and the new site will be a testament of that.

The other day, I was evaluating all the classes I have to take at school until I graduate with my Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering emphasis). I figured that I could probably graduate at the same time--Spring 2007--if I got a B.S. in English (Creative Writing emphasis) as well. It's something that would be fun to do, but I'll have to talk to a school counselor about it to make sure it's feasable.
